Important School Closure Information

During this time, I am available to meet with students and parents/guardians to provide continued support and school counseling services by phone or video conferencing.

To set up a meeting by phone: Please call the school (853-2358) and leave a message to speak with me that includes your name and the best number to reach you. The school will contact me with your message so that I can return your call.

To set up a meeting by video conferencing: Virtual school counseling appointments will be set up using Doxy.me! Doxy.me is a free application that allows video conferencing. Doxy.me is HIPAA Compliant.
If you are interested in meeting this way, fill out a "Request to see Mrs. S." form using the link at the top of the page. I will then send you an appointment in Doxy.me by sending an email to the student making the request. Once you receive the email, follow the instructions to login to the virtual session.

If you feel in danger of harming yourself or others, please call 911. Other resources are Carilion Connect (540-981-8181) and the National Crisis Line (1-800-784-2433). If you feel you are being physically harmed by a caregiver, you may call Roanoke City Child Protective Services at (853-2245).

Hello My Name Is...

Anna Schnetzler

Ms. S.

Welcome! I'm Mrs. Schnetzler, or Mrs. S., and I work with 8th grade students and 6th grade students with last names beginning with A-L. This is my eighth year at Woodrow Wilson, and I am very excited to be a part of the Woodrow Team. I am originally from Lexington, VA. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Sweet Briar College. I received my Master's degree in School Counseling from James Madison University.

How you can see me: Students are always welcome to come by my office to see me. The best time to do so is during an elective period. If I am with someone or in a meeting, students can leave me a note, and I will get back with them as soon as possible.

This year, students will be able to make an online request to see me using QR Codes posted throughout the building or by clicking the Counselor Request link at the top of this page.

Sometimes a teacher or administrator will ask me to speak with a student that they feel could use my help.  Parents and guardians can also call me and ask me to meet with their student. Please feel free to call me at (540) 853-2358 or email me at aschnetzler@rcps.info

Info on Schedule Changes:  If you'd like to request a schedule change, a parent/guardian must put it in writing. At this point in the school year, schedule change requests must be approved by the principal.
